For inverse problems, the sought after solution is indirectly
related to the measurable data and it is either impossible to
obtain more directly related data or not desirable to do so.
Inverse problems addressed at IPRPI include medical imaging (elastography,
EIT, and optical tomography), geophysical fault identification, bridge
embankment integrity, and radar imaging. |
